Halloween Time Is Here!

While the weather may not show it, Halloween Time is here and with it comes a lot of great fall activities. These are just a few of our favorites but the options are endless!

Nights of the Jack
October 11th – November 4th
King Gillette Ranch - 26800 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas

This is a great event suitable for all ages. Over approximately ½ a mile, you will see thousands of hand carved and painted pumpkins of all shapes and sizes! Pumpkins are erected into larger creatures and may even feature your favorite fictional or real life person! Tickets are available for specific time slots so that the path doesn’t get over crowded and you can truly take in the amazing craftsmanship! It takes around one hour to walk the entire path.

Boo at the LA Zoo
Every day in October

This time of the year the LA Zoo treats its visitors to many Halloween-themed activities. From a pumpkin patch, to creepy and mysterious animal shows, the zoo is not something to missed! On the weekends they have special attractions like their “Spooktacular Science” show, pumpkin carving exhibit, and a mad scientist puppet show. On October 21st and 28th they will have trick-or-treating in the zoo as well!

Fright Nights – Various Theme Parks in & Around LA

The theme parks in and around Los Angeles do not disappoint when it comes to getting into the Halloween holiday spirit. Universal Studios, Knott’s, and Magic Mountain all put on quite a show with their scary mazes, terrifying gory actors walking around the park, and even themed dining options!

If you’re looking for something a little more family friendly, Disneyland is even more magical this time of year and makes for a great option.

All these parks will be decked out in Halloween excellence through the end of the month. Ticket prices and times vary for each park. Links to all of them are below.
