Big League House for Sale in Calabasas

At the Chernov Team, we primarily focus on houses in areas of Studio City, Encino, and Sherman Oaks; but we’re always keeping our eyes open for newsworthy stories in the real estate market. As you may be aware, Major League Baseball enter postseason a few days ago; so, let’s talk baseball – just kidding, let’s talk houses.

The 15-year veteran of Major League Baseball, Marlon Byrd, is selling his Calabasas home for $3,375,000, a $1.1M profit from its original purchase price of $2,200,000 in 2013. Throughout his career, Marlon Byrd has played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Nationals, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, San Francisco Giants, and the Cleveland Indians; while on the Chicago Cubs in 2010, Marlon Byrd made the All-Star roster.

This 5,692 ft2, 5 bed, 6.5 bath, and 3 (you read that right, three) kitchen, Major League home was built in 2005, but Marlon Byrd made some excellent additions to the house. This masterpiece contains a remodeled kitchen featuring bar seating and an island, an outdoor kitchen, and a pool house kitchenette; Byrd certainly has a flare for excellence.

Marlon Byrd doesn’t only go all out with his kitchens, he also seems to have gone the extra mile with the bedrooms and the amenities.
While the Chernov Team is not listing this masterpiece, we still appreciate beautiful houses; the kind we regular do list. Ultimately, what makes real estate agents above average is their passion for what they do and their ability to stay current with the market. At the Chernov Team we understand that whoever comes to the table most prepared leaves with the most, and the Chernov Team always leaves with the most.
