President’s Day Sales: An Opportunity to Stage Your Home for a Low Cost

President’s day is a severely underrated holiday in that most people only think of it as a day off. However, President’s Day weekend is also good for sales. While Black Friday is the time of year to stock up on electronics at discount prices, President’s Day Weekend sales are the best time of year to stock up on home appliances at discount prices. This article will briefly discuss how you can capitalize on these sales, and spoil your house, at the same time.

Clearly, Presidents Like to Sleep; That’s Obviously Why Mattresses Are on Sale

If you’re doing it right, you spend roughly 33% of your life sleeping, why not splurge on yourself? While the author of this article is admittedly baffled at how mattress sales came to be associated with President’s Day, there is no reason to ignore an opportunity. Get a fancy new bed, splurge on high thread-count, and sleep like a… President; Sears has sales of up to 60% on their mattresses.

Presidents Are Also Fond of Furniture, Apparently

In the furniture industry, it is standard for new furniture lines to reach the stores within the first quarter of the year. Naturally, furniture sellers want to get rid of some of their outdated inventory to make room for the new “hot sellers.” This is a benefit for you, the savvy consumer. Target is running online sales of about 25%, as well as an additional 15% reduction on furniture and rugs.

Our Current President Enjoys Television, So Should You

Similar to furniture, new brands of televisions typically hit the stores in the first quarter of the year. As such, stores are trying to free up space for the new inventory. This means discounted television sets for you! Best Buy is a good place to go for that nearly 50-inch LCD you’ve been pining over.

At the Chernov Team, we understand that showing your house in the best possible light is the quickest way to sell your home for a reasonable price. In order to maximize your profit, it is prudent to buy low and sell high. Since the interior of your home is a major selling point, it makes sense to decorate it as cheaply and stylishly as possible. President’s Day allows you to do exactly that; so, it would be prudent to do so.

At the Chernov Team we know whoever comes to the table most prepared leaves with the most, and the Chernov Team always leaves the table with the most.
