October is arguably one of the best months of the year. Dressing up in the coolest costume and getting insane amounts of candy fills hearts and bellies with joy. On the other hand, completing a night of trick-or-treating, only to find that cheap candy fills half of your pumpkin bin, can be a very tough pill to swallow. To ensure that this does not happen to you, or any of the ones you love, here are some of the best neighborhoods to go trick-or-treating on Halloween.

Laurel Terrace Drive and Mound View Avenue in Studio City is the place to be for anyone who stays in the valley. This spot transforms itself from a quiet neighborhood to the ultimate Halloween hub. Houses in a close proximity to one another make it optimal for reaching many homes, very quickly. The locals muster all the Halloween spirit that they possibly can. Spooky decorations and great costumes make this neighborhood a great place to visit on Halloween.

Mariposa Street and Valleyheart Drive, in Burbank, is a great place to experience true Halloween magic. With the Walt Disney Studios located in Burbank, the locals really know how to get in the spirit. This is a great place for people of all ages. Haunted houses are often put on at some homes. These are fun for everybody, as they aren’t so scary that your 5-year-old won’t be able to sleep for a few days and aren’t so boring that you will fall asleep halfway through. The decorations make the area reminiscent of a Hollywood movie set. This is a great area to check out for Halloween.

The Huntington Palisades bring out the ultimate beauty of the holiday. This is a trick-or-treat hotspot for all Los Angeles residents. The area’s fun and safe environment make it a great place to bring friends and family. Locals decorate their already beautiful houses, creating an area that would satisfy you with its visuals alone. Combine that with endless amounts of great candy, and you have the complete Halloween package.

Dell Avenue and South Venice Boulevard in Venice is a great community to visit. The canals are decorated with lights and pumpkins. The locals decorate their homes as good as anybody. The neighborhood is very safe due to there not being roads for cars to drive by. You won’t have to worry about children being hit by cars while crossing the street. This beautiful area is a great environment for anyone to spend their Halloween.

These neighborhoods bring out the ultimate combination of spirit, safety, beauty, and fun. Visiting one of these neighborhoods is the best way to enjoy your Halloween. You will not regret making any of these neighborhoods your trick or treating choice.
