LOWER BEDS AND INCREASED QUALITY OF SLEEP

Most people spend between 20 and 30% of their lives sleeping. Sleep is essential for a number of scientifically-backed reasons, but from a layman’s perspective it dictates the quality of your day. As such, we should all be aiming to get the best sleep available. This article will briefly discuss the benefits of switching to a low-frame bed.

First, we all know that hot air rises and cold air falls. We also know that we sleep more
poorly when it’s too warm. Conversely, sleeping in a cooler (and therefore more comfortable
setting) will assist us in reaching deep sleep and Rapid-Eye- Movement (“REM”) sleep; these
forms of sleep are necessary to feel “well-rested” the next day. If you describe your sleep as
“tossing and turning,” or “in short bursts,” then chances are you aren’t hitting your REM cycle as
often as you should.

Another benefit of a low-frame bed is that it will force you to approach organization and
clutter differently. We all know someone who thinks everything belongs under the bed; that type
of thinking leads to clutter in other places as well. By eliminating the ultimate storage cheat, you
will force yourself to adopt a more clutter-free existence. Less clutter equals less stress, and less stress equals better sleep.

Do yourself a favor and invest in the quality of your sleep. The fact of the matter is that
people who sleep better are happier, more productive, and more energetic. All of these things
translate into a better existence for you, and isn’t that what we all really want at the end of the
day?
