Halloween is coming up, and it would be a shame if you didn’t enjoy a few scares. Head to the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride in Griffith Park and experience one of the most popular haunted houses in Los Angeles. There are a number of “zones” for you and your family to enjoy – the Haunted Hayride of course, Trick or Treat, House of Shadows, and Purgatory. The event ends on October 31, 2017, so don’t miss out!
The Haunted Shack in Torrance has been in existence for twenty years now, and they have learned a thing or two about creating an enjoyable experience for the whole family; not to mention admission is free! The Haunted Shack lasts roughly 6-8 minutes and consists of a haunted maze. While admission is free, any donations go to a good cause, the Cancer Support Community.
If you want something that is truly frightening, head to CreepLA in Downtown Los Angeles. This haunted house is one of many interactive haunted houses around the city, which utilizes a fusion of technology and actors to successfully make you jump out of your skin in fear. This is not for the faint of heart!
Another oldie, but goodie is the Queen Mary in Long Beach. It is a safe bet that everybody already knew that the Queen Mary was haunted, but not everyone knows how thorough they are once this time of year comes around. Head to Long Beach and explore a plethora of activities, which will surely leave an impression that will stick with you until you yourself become a ghost… at which point, you can pay it forward!
